Kim Taeyeon (born March 9, 1989), known simply as Taeyeon is a South Korean singer. She is the leader and main vocalist of the girl group Girls' Generation and is also a member of the sub-units Girls' Generation-TTS and Girls' Generation-Oh!GG, of the supergroupGOT the beat and of the SM the Ballad project, all under the label SM Entertainment. Taeyeon is one of the most successful soloists in South Korea, along with Lee Hyori, BoA and Hyuna.
