Nripendra Misra: Man behind Ram temple and consecration ceremony
Besides the Ram temple, the 78-year-old officer also helmed construction of the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya in Delhi, a key project driven by the Modi government.Misra told TOI that being entrusted with the responsibility of Ram temple construction was “divine blessing”.
“What more could I have asked for? I am not saying I will call it a day. But what has come so far to me is from the Lord who alone will chart my next course,” Misra had said when asked what could be his next assignment. The former civil servant, who served as principal secretary to Modi from 2014 to 2019, was given a one-line brief by him — build a temple that will last at least 1,000 years.
